Review: Born Pretty Store Lashes in #400 and #1107

I was sent two pairs of lashes, style #1107 and style #400 from Born Pretty Store to review. This is still my honest review. I was not paid for the review, just sent the product.

The packaging for both sets of lashes is very simple.

#1107 in the package, 10 pairs for $2.99

Wearing #1107, these lashes are quite pretty on. They looked a little lacking on the package, but add nice volume. They are more dramatic than the #400.

As you can see, they have a nice curl to them & are a reasonable length. I think this style is quite pretty on your eye.

Price: 9/10 

 $2.99 for 10 pairs is pretty cheap, so I'd say these are a good price. 

Style: 8.5/10

I really like the look of these lashes, they are full and give a nice fluttery look.

Comfort: 5/10

These lashes were not very comfortable for me. Someone with a flatter eye shape may find these working better for them, since I have a more rounded shape they were hard to apply and keep the inner corner down. This lash is still a light lash, so I don't see why there couldn't be a thinner band.

Packaging: 2/10

Nothing special, but I would prefer the packaging to hold the lash shape better.

Overall Quality: 4/10 

The lashes are quite pretty on, however, with my eye shape they were so hard to get on and keep on that I don't see myself wearing them often. For the price, they are the quality I would expect.

Repurchase: No

I love the look of the lashes, but the bands are too flat and not flexible enough for me to wear. 

This lash #400 is a natural looking lash. It would be a good day-to-day lash or for times where you want a slightly fuller look to your lashes.

These have a nice curl and length as well.

Price: 9/10 

 $6.99 for 10 pairs is quite cheap, so I'd say these are also a good price.

The style is quite nice. They look natural, but still add a touch of length and volume.

Comfort: 6/10

These lashes were also not very comfortable for me, but fit better than the #1107 style. Flatter eye shapes would like these. 

Packaging: 2/10

Nothing special, but I would prefer the packaging to hold the lash shape better.

Overall Quality: 6/10 

These lashes are quite pretty, however, with my eye shape they were so hard to get on and keep on I don't see myself wearing them often. These are nicer quality than the #1107 and they have a clear band so they also are easier to blend in. They quality is in line with the price.

Repurchase: Maybe

Again, comfort is a big thing for me when it comes to lashes, so unless the lash style is amazing lashes that are hard to wear and uncomfortable aren't my cup of tea. I wear lashes 6-7 days of the week, so I need them to stay on and feel nice. I do like the look of these, however, and they would be a good everyday lash.

Tutorial: Blown Out Copper Eyes

Here's a fun very copper look for spring!

Start off priming your eyes. 

Use a base shadow so blending will be easy. I use MAC Blanc Type (light cream, matte). For a base shadow chose a matte shade close to your skin tone. I use a Sigma E60 to apply.

Apply the darker shade from the NARS Isolde duo (medium copper, shimmer) to the inner and outer third of the lid. I use a MAC 242 for this step.

Apply the lighter shade from the NARS Isolde duo (light copper, shimmer) to the center of the lid with a MAC 242.

Apply the lighter copper in the Isode duo from the crease and about a third to half of the way up. I use a Sigma E45 for this.

Blend it out! We want a very blown out look here. I use a MAC 217.

Using a Sigma E45, blend a bit of MAC Embark to give more definition to the eye.

Using a pencil brush, run the darker copper halfway across the lower lash line.

Then run the lighter copper along the rest of the lash line.

Blend the colors together and out.

Highlight the inner corner with MAC Shroom (off white, frost) and also add a thin line of black liner.

Go over the black liner with a black shadow. I used MAC Carbon (black, matte) and an angled brush.

Curl your lashes, add some mascara (and falsies if desired).

Tutu: Pale ballerina pink with a shimmer finish.

Lava Love: A slightly cool matte red with gold mircoglitter.

Forget me Knot: Orchid purple-pink shimmer.

Grape Fruit: A mavue-purple matte with silver microglitter.

Plumtastic: A deep blackened purple matte.

Berry Pink: A cool magenta shimmer.

Price: 10/10 

 Each eye shadow pan is 4 grams, so the palette a total of 24 grams of product. The the amount of product and the price + taking in the account the quality this is a great deal  

Pigmentation: 10/10

These are very pigmented. I am quite impressed with the pigmentation from this brand overall and this palette is no exception. The colors are almost true to pan, if not true to pan. They are very bright, which I really like.

Texture: 9/10

The texture is nice, the shimmers are very soft and easy to pick up, the mattes are a tad harder, but still have a nice velvety feel. They all blend well.

Packaging: 9/10

I usually don't like "cute" packaging, but I find the Saucebox packaging to be almost artsy. I really like the design with the girl on it. The palette itself is pretty sturdy with a large, nice mirror, but it is cardboard.

Overall Quality: 10/10 
The package is nice, the color selection is good, the pigmentation is amazing, over all I really like this palette and i think a lot of you would enjoy it ass well.

Repurchase: Yes

With how pigmented and large the shadows are it'll take my years, but yes I would repurchase.

Pros: Texture, pigmentation, package, colors

Cons: I could do without the microglitter
