Tutorial: Colorful Electric Palette look

I have moved my blog! It is now located at www.rebeccashoresmua.com/ check my Index of Post to see my posts that are on this website and follow me on Bloglovin so you can see my new posts!

Start out with priming your eyes. I also used a bit of NYX White Base over my lid.

Apply Freak  (bright green with gold shift, slight smimmer) half way across the lid. I use a MAC 242 and pat the color on.

Apply Fringe (bright metallic teal, slight shimmer) to the other half of the lid, I used a MAC 242 again.

Now we're going to make the color blend nice, so I took my MAC 242 again and patted Freak over the center of the lid.

Here I applyed MAC Wedge (medium-light, neutral brown, matte) just above the crease. I used a Sigma E40 for this step.

Apply  Chaos (bright blue with floating tonal pearl, matte) to the outer two thirds of the crease. I used a Sigma E45 for this.

Apply Urban (bright metallic purple, slight simmer) right on top of Choas and blend into Chaos and up. I used a Simga E45 to place and color and a MAC 217 to blend.

Blend Jilted (bright metallic fuchsia with blue shift, slight shimmer) on top of Urban. We're basically repeating the pervious step, but with another color.

At this point at a look at your work, blend any hard lines. Since the colors are very bold, you wanna make sure they are blended very well and look clean.

Pat a bit of Thrash (bright lime green with floating gold pearl, matte) on to the inner corner. I used a MAC 242 for this.

Add a highlight. I use The Balm Mary Loumanizer on a Sigma E45.

Throw on some winged liner, I also have lashes on at this step.

Smudge some Urban two thirds of the way on the lower lash line. I use the small end of the brush that comes with the Electric Palette.

Add some black to the outer corner and blend with a clean pencil brush, then just add some mascara!

Tutorial: Purple and Green Urban Decay Electric Palette

Purple and Green Look with Urban Decay Electric Palette

Here's the look we'll be creating.

Prime your eyes! I am using Lorac Behind the Scenes primer. Also add a base shadow (matte shadow close to your skin tone) from the crease to brow bone. I used MAC Blanc Type. So sorry for how black my eyes are, I tried another look right before this and apparently didn't do a good job getting my liner off.

Apply a white base to just over half your lid. I used Rimmel Kohl Liner in White.

Blend Mac Wedge (matte, light neutral brown) from the crease to half way up the brow. I used a Sigma E40 for this.

Take Makeup Forever 17 (matte, chocolate brown) on a Sigma E45. Run it through the crease and blend it up slightly.

Run some black into the outer v, I am using SauceBox Black Widow (matte, black).

Blend it out!
Pat Thrash (slight shimmer, lime green) over the white base.

Blend a bit more Makeup Forever 17.

I then packed on even more Thrash, since I wanted it to be really green.

Clean up any fall out at this point.

Take Urban (slight shimmer, royal purple) and run it along the lash line. Using the smaller end of the brush that comes with the Electric Palette works well for this.

Blend Urban out.

Add a bit of Jilted (matte, bright pink) just under Urban.

Blend those colors together.

Add some winged liner, highlight the inner corner and brow bone and add mascara.

Here's the finished look, I also added Pixi Luxe lashes.

Brows for Redheads

Hey guys! So this week I did two video tutorials with my littler sister Rachel. We did two looks: a bold brow and a natural brow. Next week I should have my normal styled posts. I just got new lighting, so I am rearranging my set up & I wasn't able to make a text and picture tutorial. Also, let me know what tutorials and content you'd like to see in the comments. Pretty please!
